I was going towards college by train, it was afternoon, i was reading HT as usual, so through that i came to know about this incident.
1. Koena Mitra, in airport, waiting for flight, travelling bangaluru to mumbai.
2. During Security Scanning, lady security guard told her to strip off his T-Shirt.
3. Koena refused, later lady s.g. taunt her regd. her clothes which she prefers to wear mostly i.e. her dress symbol.
4. Even lady s.g. called her senior, senior officer too told Koena to take off her T-Shirt as it is for security reasons, Koena again denied.
5. A moment came she was running to catch her pair of shoes, which she removed on the instruction of another officer.
CAN YOU IMAGINE A KIND OF BULLSHIT NON-SENSE ESPECIALLY WITH B-TOWN CELEBS.
I KNOW OUR INDIAN AIRPORT CONDITIONS, BUT IT IS UNACCEPTABLE.
I MEAN HOW CAN THEY ASK TO STRIP OFF CLOTH, AS SHE NOT HAVING ANY CRIMINAL RECORD AND ALSO IT IS AGAINST THE LAW, AS I NEVER HEARD SUCH LAW WHICH SAYS THAT A WOMEN SHOULD TAKE OFF HER CLOTHES AT AIRPORT FOR SECURITY REASONS.
LATER, KOENA COMPLAINED TO BIG AUTHORITIES OF AIRPORTS.
WHEN MEDIA CONTACT THAT AUTHORITIES THEY REPLIED, "NOTHING SORT OF THAT HAPPENED,".
